Company operating in the production and packing of edible oils since 1904, with a business spread all over the World and a consistent expanding power.
The yearly turnover is attested on about EUR 70.000.000, with activities focused on the Export Market. This section represents about 80% of the whole company turnover.
Present all over the World: Europe, Africa, North and South America, Asia and Australia, with the company brand and Private Labels as well.

Headquarter and production plant are located in San Michele di Serino, a small town a few miles away from Avellino (near Napoli and Salerno) and extend on a surface area of about 14.500m².

At national level, Basso products are present through the distribution channel and small retailers as well.
The Export relies on a wide network composed by agents, distributors and importers, and it is followed by an internal Export Team made of highly specialized professionals, expert on foreign trade and passionate at work.

Despite the great success, the values that distinguish the company continue to be the same as in the past: quality, genuineness, and love in each small gesture, from the cultivation of olives, to the collection by hand, until the processing into extra virgin olive oil or into delicious products such as the pate or specialties in oil.

Founded in 1895 by founders: Regina and Isidoro, from which the name REDORO comes from. The family company is still linked to tradition, but dynamically adapts to the developments of the market. The passion and secrets to create REDORO extra-virgin olive oil, 100% Italian origin, have been passed on from father to son for over 100 years, bringing to the switch during the ’90s, from local production firm to national and international firm, that brings taste and the quality of REDORO experience in every kitchen and on every table.

EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVIE OIL COLD PRESSING

The “Extra” quality originates from a careful selection of olives that possess all the characteristics to be expected of the very finest quality. Harvested on the Veneto hills at just the right point of ripeness, they are processed using the traditional cold pressing process. With a fragrant flavour and fruity bouquet, this oil has an intense green colour with golden hints.

UNIQUE LANDS TO PRODUCE EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

REDORO extra-virgin olive oil is produced in the hilly areas of the province of Verona, such as Mount Lessini and other hills located nearby Lake Garda.
The position, altitude and calcareous nature of these lands are indeed particularly suitable for the cultivation of olive trees, thanks to the mild climate, ideal to cultivate olive trees all year round.

REDORO has obtained the Denomination of Protected Origin for two of their products: Garda DOP and Veneto Valpolicella DOP, two great Extra-virgin Olive oils.
